Roxanne is a Professional Engineer, Certified Passive House Designer, Certified Energy Manager and holds a Masters of Applied Science in Engineering. In 2012, she founded Tate Engineering Inc. out of a desire to fight climate change and looking for a more flexible life arrangement. Today, we feature Susan Kabani who joins us from London, England. Susan is the founder and CEO of the award winning membership & community platform Ugenie. With a background in intellectual property law and business development, Susan worked at an international law firm and the National Football League before joining a growing laser manufacturing company based in London. During her time at the company, she was instrumental in tripling sales and adding new products to the company’s portfolio. In addition to Ugenie, Susan is the co-chair of the GroYourBiz Women's Peer-to-peer advisory board and a chair of the Westminster group of the Athena Network, the number one women's networking group in the UK. She has also won numerous awards including Best Woman-Led Online SME Community Platform by the Influential Businesswoman Awards 2020 and Successful Women of the Year 2020 by Successful Women in Business.
